Can anyone hear recommend a couple of books? Any help is appreciated!

I heard that about face is good
I heard windows vista guidelines book is coming out
but that stuff is online might wanna check that out first
explore and think, if you explore pixels from 0 to 16x16 you will have a good understanding of glyphs, might wanna explore that matrix glyph- glyphs? Now I'm confusedredant

I wouldn't read any books, i would think about the project and then think about how i would like it to look and work

There are a couple of books by robert hoekman that are good, as well as Dont Make Me Think, by Steve Krug and 37S book, Defensive Design for the Web.

Though they don't have anything entirely UX focused, the collection of books at A Book Apart is a nice set of books based around web design.
They are nicely designed too.
