I know there are a number of cyclists on here; but, just wondering if anyone is on/using Strava. I signed up for it a while ago but have only recently started really using it.
For those who don't know, I would say what Nike+ is for running, Strava is to cycling - you can use an iPhone or a traditional cycling computer to track/share data.
If you're on it, follow me:

just started following you. I was training really hard for a while and took a lot of last week off. I'll be back at it this week though.

Nice!
Following you, as well.

I want to make a lazy/fat bastard app that allows you to let your friends know what an unhealthy tasty lunch you've had whilst they've been out for their "Nike™ Run" on their lunch hour or lets them know how much you've enjoyed your long-lie at the weekend snuggled or having morning sex with your girlfriend whilst theyve been out for their early morning "Nike™ Run".
Reckon it'd be a winner. Everyone hates a healthy gloater! :P

Bump for the workweek crowd.

Haven't joined or tried it out yet but very intrigued. Saw the ads all the time during AToC. I will likely create an account soon, but I don't think anyone will care about my embarrassing ride stats.
- Most of mine come from the 5mi rides to work or the GF's place.duckseason

Question: If you're stopped at a stoplight, does the "clock" on the GPS keep running?

I'm not 100% sure about how this works, but in the ride summary it has moving time vs total time, so one could assume it stops if you stop. Like I said, I've only started getting into recently, so don't hold me to that.

Saving for a garmin edge; perhaps I could put my iPad in the back of my jersey for now? May act as a wing of sorts?
: )
I have a few avid cyclist buddies who are currently losing their shit over Strava; it turns obsessive loner cyclists into obsessive social cyclists (a good thing).
- I just picked up an Edge 500 a few weeks ago - love it.duckseason

Maybe it's just my iphone but if I do over 100km's my battery drains and the ride date cuts off. Otherwise I love it.
- How do you find time for 100 km's buddy? : )... I'm struggling to get my first centurion in of the season, still...ideaist
- 30km before work once a week then I'm good for 100km+ on Sat mornings.jacklalane

Just upgraded to iphone 4S and signed up. No stats just yet, but looks like it can get a little addicting.

I have been really slacking on biking since I started using Strava about 3 months ago, but here's my profile: http://app.strava.com/athletes/3…
I mostly commute to and from work (~5 miles each way), and every now and then I'll do 4-6 time trials in a night just to pump out some extra workout time.

Been using Strava for a little while now, liking it so far. I use Cyclemeter on my phone and just export. No particular reason other than I had been using Cyclemeter for a couple years and didn't feel like switching. Anywho, added you guys... =)

When you come visit in July you should come ride a lunch ride with us one day. We can do a ride called double peak that beats the crap out of everyone. I work there but live in San Diego. Not sure about the group rides but I can ask for you.
- Sounds good. Will get in touch before I get to Carlsbad.Presta
