    For your consideration...

Quantum theory is both destroying and reinforcing our versions of reality simultaneously. In describing the characteristics of black holes, it may have inadvertently been discovered that we are in actuality two-dimensional representations, that the third dimension is an illusion. On the other hand, string theory in the extreme macroscopic (think intergalactic and much beyond), infinite parallel universes, and eleven or more probable "dimensions" might explain the accounts of deja vu, ghosts, UFOs... maybe even the concept of God.
