Kernel panic could be any number of things, including bad RAM modules.
- Continuity0
Kernel panic can also be a motherboard that's losing the plot, or a video card that's breathing its last.

is it a macbook pro? There's been news about faulty graphics cards fucking up the works lately.
- Continuity0
One way or another, I wouldn't fuck about with it. Take it to Apple.
- GeorgesIV0
actually I can't talk with apple, it's my trusty hackintosh,
maybe it's flash cs5, I never had a panic like that till I restarted using that program

It's likely an incompatible driver or permissions setting if it's not hardware based. Repair permissions and look for drivers that are known to work in hackintoshes.
- I actually want it to crash again, so I can write down all the programs that were runningGeorgesIV

repaired permissions, driver look alright,
now I wait... for the next crash

@Georges, a hackintosh will behave differently to a Mac if you have needed to use unoffical Kexts, EDP etc.
I've had 2 Hackintosh laptops burn through the Graphics Card very quickly because the components seemed to work great with kexts but actually fucked things up.
I would suggest posting on a Hackintosh forum like Tonymacx86 with your specific build and details of your install. I got help there when 2 D630's burned fast. The Dell D630 has a faulty nVidia chip and something to do with the install meant the chips ran extra hot and melted superquick.
I'm a big fan of Hackintosh but what you're experiencing I suspect is a problem due to the fact you Hackintoshed it.
