Since the states are not really united on any subject matter or way of living, let each state become their own country. Maybe not every state, but break it up by region. All conservatives move to the south and be retarded together.
- nice... 'paper's please' every 400 miles... ... no thanks, dudePonyBoy
- that would be like some Europe bullshitmonospaced
- How often do people take road trips??? It would be like Europe.iCanHazQBN
- Americans 'practically' created the road trip.monospaced
- Could have like a UE thing, borders are open, but different laws for each state...iCanHazQBN
- and no more pretending that we're all united.iCanHazQBN
- Mono, people take like 1-2 cross-state roadtrips a year. Ask yourself how do Europeans take road trips.iCanHazQBN
- Each state in America is like the size of a country in Europe.iCanHazQBN
- I'm not saying they don't. But Americans practically created it.monospaced
- The scale and vastness of the USA is too large to get everyone to agree on things.iCanHazQBN
- car culture, highway system, etcmonospaced
- We have too many regions, thousands of miles apart, that disagree on everything.iCanHazQBN
- yup, like Europemonospaced
- Yeah, but in Europe they're divided up by countries.iCanHazQBN
- Right. Anyway, I agree, let all the bible-thumping right-wing conservative rednecks be their own union again. hahahamonospaced
- And watch their country degrade to the stone age without scientists, engineers, and scholars.iCanHazQBN

kind of makes sense. it is why the roman empire fell—too big to manage with a central government.
