    use tints of pantone blue and black. save as an eps. give the printer the eps. thats all they need.

    btw, do you know how to convert the blue to a pms blue?
    go to the window menu in illi and select the swatch libraries - select pantone solid coated or uncoated. depending on the paper stock you are using. the same pantone color looks different printed on coated and uncoated stocks.

    half the fun of printing is choosing paper. especially with 1,2, and 3 color jobs. cause the paper color can serve as its own color..
