I don't think Christians hold the 'world is 2000 years old' as a real tenant of their faith. They hold the life/death and teaching of Jesus Christ as described in the New Testament as something to live up to. That the world was created, by God, in 7 days a few thousand years ago is an OLD Testament thing and all you're doing is combining it with the fact that with the unrealted fact that Jesus was believed to have lived 2000 years ago. No Christian in the world say the world started when Jesus was born so you are fundamentally incorrect, you make false assumptions so therefore false conclusions.

    • i've heard from them everything from 2 to 6 to 10scarabin
    • A literal interpretation would make mankind slightly over 6,000 years old.Mimio
    • A literal interpretation makes you a fundamentalist. And we know how often they get it right.CyBrain
