    I'm still on it. Recently went back to it after doing some other stuff (Jiu-jitsu training). Still love it, still kicks my ass. I think there are 2 things I'd say:
    1. Push yourself hard! Don't just "do it"
    2. Diet is just as important, if not more, than gym time. If you don't follow the P90X diet (I don't), make your own that works well for you, but eat smart, try to stay away from refined sugars, do whole wheat pasta.... just basic good stuff. Start reading ingredients labels.

    20 pounds might be good to start if you don't work out, but I think you'll quickly need more, especially for shoulders and back.

    You'll need a pull up bar to, I'd say if you're serious, do the P90X one as it's much larger and more stabel than the cheaper Iron Gym ones.
