Getting a company/agency to sponsor your visa will be hard.
My findings whilst living in NYC last summer: Companies weren't willing to spend $$$ for the visa (I even offered to pay for it) and their time to process the visa. Maybe it was just me :/

So the answer to your question: Definitely. NYC is an amazing city (maybe even the best city I've lived in) and I had a great 3 months out there.

How long is a tourist visa in the states for Germans?

    • 3 months for everyone. But you can't work with a tourist visa.digdre
    • Hence, why I came back to LDN. So, how's he going to stay there for a couple of years?goldieboy
    • Get a visa first?digdre
