Regular client enquired about doing a nwe batch of a job and mentioned they'd changed their branding. Their branding historically really hasn't been integral to their product - their product IS their brand.
Brand looks like it's been designed by someone most of you know and some of you love, which makes sense because I know my client has a strong connection with said designer.
I don't much like and I particularly don't respect the new branding. It actually strongly reminds me of [design-related brand] but fuckit, it's twice the height of their old brand, so from my perspective likely means I can charge 80% more than prior.
That twat in me is itching to say something to them.
I won't, of course. I just hope they don't ask.

- Something that didn't need changing was, and I don't get why, but i'm not going to complain as it'll be better for me, unless they ask my opinion.Nairn
- Bigger logo, bigger fabrication, bigger price. Who designed it?monospaced
- you took "can we make the logo bigger?" and judo-flipped it into making more money. Well played.monNom
