Sorry if u saw the movie long time ago. I'm poor and have to wait for the rentals... to see shit.
What's going on? This movie sucked big time. Besides few good shots and a few (very few) semi-interesting ideas there was nothibng else but lots of postroduction trickery. Evan that trickery is easy ti fugure out (thus to imitate).

I haven't seen this movie yet. And I too must wait for rentals because I just don't have time for the theater anymore. So I just got around to seeing Momento the other day. If you haven't seen it, maybe it will make up for how shitty Minority Report was.

Everybody is different when it comes to watching movies, but you ask for this when you post this thread! If you didn't like the movie, you're not too bright then.

i was surprised that i somewhat enjoyed minority report... i typically hate sci fi stuff, but my gf wanted to see it. I suppose if you're a true sci fi fan it would indeed suck.
miracola-how's that cold doing? I recently awakened from a nyquil coma.

Minority Report had the plot twist of a six year old kid.
macasoFL It was so transparent it was offensive. If any one comes across as not to bright I would have to say your comment takes the cake.
;)
The movie was Juvenile sorry

Grunt,
I had to leave work earlt because my head was pounding and I had a cough that just wouldn't go away... still hasn't.
As I type this, my wife just poured me some green tea with ginseng. Doesn't seem to be helping much, but the boiling hot water burning my fucking lips is taking my mind of my sickness.
I had to take my three kids to gymnasticts tonight as well and sit there for a few hours. That sucked!
How bout you?

I saw this soemtime ago, but the one thing I saw that DID make sense was the solid state media. Particularly the little video cubes. Seems like a good idea. No drivers or player software...just a chunk of plastic with data on it that plays instantly and flawlessly. Other than that it was all eye candy, a bad plot and terrible ending.

It's a matter of personal preference, I thought the movie was good, and the plot, but hey it's me, personal preference!

miracola - not meaning to be sarcastic but... i'm doing better than you =] But then again you have more responsibilities than I do. My major responsibility was to make sure I fed the cat before I took a double shot of Nyquil. I've got medicine head right now but my fever has broken... If I can't sleep tonight I'll be working on my snot rag sculptures. =] Hang in there homie, I feel your pain.
*passing you a tissue.

I saw this film on DVD last night and liked it
As far as I can see the original poster is criticising it because he can work out how the special effects were done !
Pretty easy that after you watch DVD2 :)
Good 2 hours worth of distraction if you ask me

it ((IS)) good enough to see.
the disapointment comes knowing that spielberg did now really wow us enough, especially after A.I.
on the visuals tip this movie puts out, BIG TIME. the viseffect alone is worth seeing this. Hope santa gives me the DVD this Giftmas...err I mean Chirstmas.

i actually love macasoFLs attitude...
anyway,
IF,
you don't care for my opinion, i sugeest you discontinue reading.
this film is bought to you by the GAP.
The production design was like that of a Sony advertisement circa year 2000. same applies to the cinematography. The CGI was excessive at times.
But the main reason it made me cringe was because of the heavy hand of SS. The scenes where Tom Cruise is _conducting_ the investigations and also _conducting_ the cheesy John Williams music score are way too discernible. YES WE GET IT STEVEN, we got it the first two second of scene! Also, where Tom's wife is tying the murderer's tie (noose) was shot so a 14 year old would understand the connotation. Steven's heavy hand makes the film very predicable Something a thriller should never be.
Why are the graphic designers still using squares with one clipped corner in the year 2054 ?? Maybe, it's retro.
my second most hated movie of the year !!

Spielberg's hot new comedy, Minority Report, was the funniest movie I've seen this year! With highlights including the old 'moldy sandwich switcheroo' and the 'melty faced eyeball chase scene' it was eye candy, indeed!

Zzzzz - bag o' shite

my personal favorite part was when charlie gives back the everlasting gobstopper and everything in the office is in halves. brilliant.

3 complaints from me:
1.) how did john anderton get through the security door with his old eyes? his position was terminated, right?
2.) when the neuroin seller on the street shows his eye sockets, they look sooo fake. you can easily see the poor cg rendering move a little out of balance with his head.
3.) i can't stand the goonies-esque comic relief laced throughout the movie. (it was great in goonies), but the scene where they come up through the floor where the family is having dinner, or the two people who stop arguing to have their eyes scanned... horrible! SS is good at what he does, but he has a horrible sense of comedy (IMO)

Thank you aguabotic.
