So last time i heard comments that the photographs i transform are bit to expected/ "easy" to transform. So this time i picked one something tougher:
http://www.trickstertheater.org/…
Click "Landscape" (sorry for moddem guys, the smaller version i comming soon).
Moreover concider that this photo is way more ambitious then all the rest so the transformation is also way tougher to figure out.

very nice. I didn't think the last ones were easy. But this one does look like it would be more challenging. Nice work.

interesting effect. i'd like to see it used in context... ie, not just 'look at this neat effect' but rather to enhance a narrative. the potential is there...

spot a typo on the index page, should be coming, not comming, in case you're intended.

it's shockwave.
yeah, i have it installed but it didn't work with chimera. went into ie and it worked.

I'm impressed.
The only big flaw I saw was that the trees behind the foreground tree seemed like they were almost pixelstretched, a bit too uniform looking especially contrasted with the rest of the forest. I gathered those trees were hidden in the initial photo.
have you considered using two photos? I'm thinking that would allow other effects, ie having the trunk of that tree rotate and not just move.

Vena: actually i was going to us it in my recent video, where we have a guy walking in a part toward the camera and as he's close it us the camera does 180. As it's doing 180 we see a window appearing and rottainting and the guy follows toward the window opens it and walks "outside"... Anyway it was never done because of time constrains and "too much about cool effect" aspect.
kpl: actually the trunk in the foreground could be easily faked by pretening it's textured on a hexagonal figure (something like 3d games). I didn't do it as i had tofinish it for a presentation at school (one agin time contsrain...)

even my girlfriend thinks this is cool.
I did notice that there's a bit of a boo boo in the bottom right corner when you get toward the end.

"even my girlfriend thinks this is cool" -- nice! Thanks!
The boo boo -- time...

yeah phone modem took its time, but i did other things waiting.
great effect. did u morph between 2 photos? it was very realisic. Did u c the end of www.sofake.com from here last nite? a similar effect was achieved wiv that guy whose eyes followed ur mouse, but it was more realistic coz he blinked whilst it was happening .......almost like he was live on a cam.
R we all nuts?..impressed by this stuff which the average Joe Soap would not give a toss over? hehe........Happy Christmas
