Jaline... are you working towards developing or design... or are you just constantly messing around with all this stuff? I see you comment on all sorts of html type tools often... just curious what you're working toward as I know you're still in school...
... i'm asking cuz you seem pretty knowledgeable and could very well turn into a 'source' for a few folks who are always looking for dev. help... (paid help.. *ahem)... :)
Our little girl is growing up!!!!

I love TED, I've just spent 6 hrs watching talks on there. My recommendations of the day are:
Sir Ken Robinson talking about how our school systems limit childrens creativity by channelling everything into a narrow "work" focused, university centric form of learning. He's wicked, very funny
http://www.ted.com/index.php/tal…
Malcolm Gladwell talking about spaghetti sauce, and thinking properly
http://www.ted.com/index.php/tal…
and William McDonough in cradle to cradle design (including a whole new city in china). bare with him he's quite deadpan
http://www.ted.com/index.php/tal…
(I know these are quite old, and care not)
night night
- if you don't know him, I guarantee you guys will love gladwell (probably preaching to the converted)kelpie
- ted is awesome! since ever and always again. love ted! the one that I remember: isabel allende: http://www.ted.com/i…
uan - Sir Ken Robinson is really good - watched again. thanks for filtering.invisiblechamber

ps. don't bother with sir norman foster, like listening to paint dry. yeah, that *is* worse than watching it.

dear british tea drinkers, what's considered a 'good' tea over there? i've procured myself some PG Tips and rather like it, but wondering if there's something better i could be sipping...
- pg tips is for the common working class. perfect for you i'm sure.airey
- try japanese green tea, the fresh one.that is aw.uan
- tea? get some coffee********
- Yorkshire Gold. Twining's Breakfast Tea.********
- PG is the tea of the proletariat, its true, but its also a good and well rounded cuppa so enjoy it.Horp

i, in my infinite wisdom, leaned the snow shovel up against something somewhere. Apparently it did not stay in that position. It is now buried somewhere in my yard under a foot of snow. Thank goodness the wife bought the kids some small shovels. If you need me i'll be the one imitating the Hunchback of Notre Dame while eliminating the snow bank at the end of my driveway.

Just watched Tropic Thunder while working on a site. I expected more from Justin Theroux (wrote part of the story). As 7.34 said, it was shite. Except for the parts with Tom Cruise.
- All the funniest parts that didn't have Tom Cruise in them were given away in the trailer. Not that funny while watching the film.Jaline
- I do like some Ben Stiller films, to be honest.Jaline
- I thought it was funny.ninjasavant
- e-pill0
so jaline, what the final verdict?
astronauts or cavemen?
- ian0
I also watched Tropic Thunder yesterday. Im swimming against the tide here but I thought it were funny. Not as rip roaring as they'd have you believe but funny. Besides, I got a lend of it from a mate so I didn't actually spend any cash on it which is ok by me.
- I downloaded it, thankfully. I didn't pay attention to some parts.Jaline
- ian0
Im also sober now.

locustcloth; how many children do you have? maybe a group of smaller shovels will clear the drive better than one big localised shovel. You've just industrialised your snow problem; embrace it. Now you are no longer a worker, you are management, and can delegate the big task into lots of little tasks and reward your workforce upon completion.
Losing that shovel could turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to your driveway.
