I'm redesigning my website. I want to show off my best print work, designs, etc....but I'm uncertain of how I want to present the content.
My specialty is HTML/CSS so I'm probably not going to use a flash-based presentation.
Do you guys know of any good examples that are nice and clean and most importantly..easy to update!
How to do guys feel about using thumnails and pop-up windows?
I could also do iframes, but those are generally looked down upon when designing for new web standards.Any ideas??? Thanks!

iframes are looked down?

yeah iframes suck... theres some popup code that runs something like a href=image.jpg onclick="window.open(this)";retu... false i know its not 100% accessible but it works - personally i think theres nothing better than a page with an enlargement and some writing about the work... you lose that if you do popups

well....sort of...its debatable....
But its definitely hard to get them to function perfectly in ALL browsers.
At my work they recommend using a with overflow: scroll.
I'm probably going to wind up using iframes anyway though.

I think iframes can be really useful when you have many pages of content and you don't have to load every single one of them over again. I generally dislike screen-sized pop-ups, but pop-ups to showcase a portfolio are fine, as long as they're not too boring.
I had a hard time figuring out what css/html I wanted to use in my current layout. I wanted it to be a little different from all those other sites out there.
It's not that great, but that's just how I did my work.

i like when iframes are a part of the html design/feel of the site.
