now that's what I'm talking about. Come home for lunch and Germany leads 2-0. Life couldn't get any better. Well not really a supermodel could ring my doorbell...

1145 BST: Sweden's stars had a fright on the flight over to Cologne from their training base in Bremen. The plane they were aboard experienced difficulties and caused a brief moment of panic on board. With thunderstoms and clouds covering the airport the pilot decided to take the plane up again and retry the landing. At the second time of asking the plane eventually touched down for a clean landing. No damage was done apart from a few spilled meatballs apparently.
HAhahaha
'a few spilled meatballs'

My boss just told me I could work from home for the US/Ghana game ... but not to tell anyone and act like I have the cable company coming in.
Unfortunatley, I've already told a few people and that I'd meet them for lunch at a bar for the 2nd half.
...
He doesn't understand the tremendous importance of this game (especially since Italy won... and Ghana looked damn good...).
AHHHH!
I'm thinking of acting like he said no, then making up an excuse that I have to show my apartment for people since my landlord will be out of town.
...
I'm not coming in. I mean Christ, I told him I'd work during the Brasil game!!
* Over his head.

I just planted the first seed.
People were talking about a Happy Hour and I went, "Damn, I really wish I could go but I have to clean up my entire apartment because my landlord is showing it all week and it's an absolute mess."
The conversation immediately went into me looking for new places and no one was the wiser on my ultimate plan.

that is all

I'm nervous about tomorrow.
My team, Mexico, either plays beautiful soccer or as horrible as a bad second division team.
I just hope iran ties or beats angola so that we can get out of the group stages even if we get raped by portugese
- pablito0
whoever goes second from this group ( D ) will get beaten by argentina anyways....

Argentina / Netherlands
can't wait...
- ********0
Yea, normally I wouldn't be able to wait either but they are both already 1/2 in the group.
Eh, I'd rest people and make sure no one got any yellow cards.

To stop teams knowing the outcome of the groups. They mightnt even bother to compete (Holland v Ireland in european qualifiers many moons ago)
