went to a resturant / pub with a girl once that had 100-200 hot sauces on a huge shelf behind the bar. there were a few scattered on the bar as well, so i pick one up and put a dab of it on my plate. i am familiar with these specialty hot sauces and i know to only use a tiny tiny amount. dip the corners of a couple fries in and even a bit of my burger and start going 'damn this shit is hot, but it's good though'
the girl who was not into spicy foods asks to try it, so i say very clearly, ok but be careful... you only need to get a small amount, it is extraordinarily hot.
she tastes it and then turns red and drink about 3/4 of her drink and goes what the hell is wrong with you? thats hot as shit!!!
i blinked... i uh, told you that... it is called hot sauce
i picture this as one of those you had to be there moments but it seems to mirror anytime thing one has said 'hey, this fucking stinks. you gotta smell it.' and then thing two smells it and says 'damn dude, that is foul.'
