What the heck is this crap?
i can't heal toe it like that...but i down shift properly
I'm working on it myself. Just started.
I can do that with one hand tied behind my back.
looks useful for driving in icy/snowy conditions here in minnesota. thanks, i have never heard of this.
That's generally for older vehicles and motorcycles, right? A punch of the gas to help align the gears when shifting.
and also not lock up the tires if the rpms are too low when you downshift
wow, most incredible and inspirational thread on QBN ever!
And I mean, really, we just don't have enough idiots out on the road reducing the odds of getting from point A to point B in one piece. Every time I pull out of my driveway it seems young Vin Diesel is waiting to get behind me in his souped up Neon that Mom and Dad bought.
I thought everyone did this so that you don't unsettle the car in tight corners?
It has several purposes. Main one being to keep the revs up high out of a corner for a faster corner exit.
