I have a video which features some type. The video is a MOV and the type looks nice and crisp when viewed in quicktime.
But...when I import the footage into after effects, the type looks slightly fuzzy/pixelated.The quality is set to full and the composition settings appear to be correct (matching the imported footage).
is there anything that I'm missing? it's puzzling me and very annoying
thanks

by quality set to full, you mean your working view?
can you show us a screenshot? is it only the text that looks fuzzy?

yeah a screenshot would help - have you checked the way the footage it being interpreted?

also click the little forward slash icon in your timelin, and make sure you have got it set to square or non square pixels as in the viewer it may look a bit weird.

Is there some sort of alpha channel in your footage that's making it all wacky?

hmm looks like some scaling is happening. pixel correction perhaps?
the sizing is defin. off

I think I've solved it. I think Vivid was right, seemed like the the Interpretation of the footage didn't match the composition. Never had to deal with interpretation before. phew. thanks guys
