i love it when girls smoke.
when they grasp the cigarette in their hand, between their two fingers and put it up to their mouth and suck. ah yeah, their eyes get all squinty and their forehead wrinkles up puffing in. their cheeks suck in and their nostrils flare, making them look like their either trying desperately to hold in a massive fart, or have just massively farted and realized a little shit came out, oh yeah that face.... that beautiful face with their two fingers now spread open looking like rigamortis has set in hours ago while they take in a deep drag. ah fuck yeah i love it! then they take the cigarette out of their mouth and hold it over their shoulder and it burns your shoulder cause you were standing next to them of fuck yeah i have a boner now.
- good to know somebody share the same thought as i do. LOLpango

it's even cooler if you hand-roll one at your desk, then go smoke it.
waste even more time!

as a 15+ year smoker who has not had a cigarette in 3 months, i can say this with 100% certainty... Smoking Is Fucking Awesome!

Bollocks, and to think I've been taking five days holiday a year to go off on my 'smoking holiday', by which I buy one of those duty free size boxes and smoke myself into a coma!
Damn you and your maths Baskerville
:D

I'm not a smoker, but I always say I'm taking a smoke break and walking down to the store or just sit outside for a few. Not so much in the winter though.

i've had a strange relationship with cigarettes...
i go through the typical "wtf am i doing smoking this" thing, can't really justify why i do it apart from the fact that it gets me out of my office every few hours and it's awesome when i'm rolling at parties or drinking. so there's the whole "omg i'm so helpless" thing i'm sure all smokers deal with, but the weird part is i'm addicted ONLY DURING THE WEEK.
i have no desire to smoke when i'm at home or hanging out somewere over the weekend, unless i'm at a party of some sort.
which leads me to believe that the addiction is only in my mind, that i get some sort of thrill by being addicted to something, and i delight in the anguish it causes, and that's i'm just a slacker and like breaks at work.
- It's like social drinking. More of a pressure situation.juhls
- stop! while you still can and you're not helplessly and hopelessly addicted. Seriously, please do it now, not later :(mikotondria3
- yes! stop it now! seriously! you're only one year away from 20-40/daymikabast
- yeah, you guys are right.scarabin

You're supposed to take breaks during the workday. It increases the ability to think objectively and focus. The fact that smokers take breaks to have a cigarette is none of you're business in fact. Just like they have no right to complain that you masturbate in the office bathroom.

The average worker in my studio has maybe 4 breaks a day to browse the Internet and log-on to QBN of about 10 minutes. So that's 40 minutes a day. Which over a year is 9120 minutes, which is 152 hours which works out as over 6 days of trolling time a year!
6 DAYS!
I want 6 extra days of holiday for not trolling during work hours.
Although, maybe I already use that time on QBN, who knows. Just thought I'd put this info out there

I dont smoke at work but when im pissed i love a good cigarette.... mm tastes so good....
I dont mind that the smokers go out for 5-10 min for a ciggy, infact sometimes I go out and stand with a coffee with them. It also makes me feel justified if i want to go sit in the kitchen for 10 min to fanny about, or to browse forums or read about stuff thats not work related. or even to take an extra 30 minutes on my lunch if im feeling brassy....I worked in a place (a leading creative studio) where I had to be at my desk and working for 9am... if i was in the kitchen making tea at 9.05 I would get shit for not being in on time... that fucked me off... but also smokers were not allowed out, outwith certain break times... Although this lead to me never working late and getting into 'You are expected to work late but never allowed to be 5min late to start ' arguments...
What annoys me about smoking at work is the smell. Coming in after a smoke stinks. I breath it in from colleagues and it jumps down my throat and makes me fucking gag. I tell smokers, when I smell the smoke, that it stinks and could they 'go brush thier fucking teeth or something'.
You know what its like when you are discussing something at a computer screen you get pretty close and well lets say if mateh hasn't washed your going to smell it.
luckily most... i say most... are considerate and this happens rarley.

I'm not a smoker, but I do smoke from time to time. I personally don't have a problem with people taking breaks all day to smoke. Where I actually like the smell of it if someone is smoking around me, the residual smoke smell left on people who just had a cigarette is nasty and the smell on their breath is usually 10 times worse!
The worst combination possible:
Go out for a smoke break...return to the office and drink a large cup of coffee. Finally, be sure and get right up in people's faces when you talk to them so they can smell your turd breath.
