At least they admitted that they copied it.

maybe they read somethings about CP&B on QBN. lol.

CP&B has had layoffs too - I'm surprised they're willing to drop any account, let a lone one that CAN PAY
I guess I just have a hard time seeing anyone turn paying work away these days

From what I understand, being invited to take part in a large agency review (especially by a larger client) is not usually a negative thing -- or a hint that you're being shown the door. Someone at "large client X" could probably fire your ass with a simple phone call if they wanted to. Inviting you to discuss the work you've done, how things are going, what the future holds, etc.. indicates a vested interest in your continued, mutual success, and an interest in understanding how you can continue working well together.

Well what you understand is incorrect. I don't think you understand what a review is, at all, radiculture.
it's like you've been in a relationship with for 5 years and she suddenly says "I think our relationship should be up for review. I'll have 6 other dudes competing and taking me out on dates. You're welcome to take me on a date too, so I can see how you compare"

If VW put a little more effort, money and time into their cars there would be no need for VW to spend $200+ million dollars in the first place. I just got rid of my 03 Jetta, a fucking clunker of a car!

And if you can put yourself in the above scenario, it's not hard to see why CP+B is telling that slut VW to fuck off. Why should they have to prove themselves in some horse and pony show when they've been proving what they're capable of for the past 5 years day in and day out?

utopian, also a good point. The product sucks, and the advertising is weird. VW has styling, their hardcore owners, and dumb women to thank for their sales. But the rest is a mess.

Perhaps VW just want to review why they spend $200m and find all their new ads come from crowdspring?
