You should take a little water taxi to the Hotel New York its a nice little ride and the HNY is where migrants used to LEAVE Holland by boat to go Directly to NEW YORK! Its a little touristy but it makes for a memorable Lunch.

^ if you want to go that route, why not visit the pelgrims Church (and it's neigbouring brewery) where the later settlers of America left for the Mayflower to go to the US.

Hey all thanks for the suggestions.
We booked it last minute for Easter and jumped on a flight.
We ended up just hanging out for most of the time.Witte de With Straat was excellent Witt App is a cool bar and we also checked out Bazar too for food.. excellent.
checked out TenTen http://www.tentrotterdam.nl/
Bojmans too. http://www.boijmans.nl/en/
and a couple of cafes too.Overall Rotterdam was awesome, everyone and I mean everyone we spoke to was really nice; what a change from the big smoke.
Really chilled, exactly what we were after.- BTW it's 'Tent' celibrating it's tenth anniversaryneverblink
