Yeah, I wonder if they'll start charging eventually, like TypeKit? TypeKit's starting to get some decent Foundries to sign on, like Veer.
But, this google thing could be sweet... maybe there are better fonts on the way...

Probably the whole point is that it's free. So there will be room for both, free and premium

It's way simpler to use, even than Typekit... which is hilarious, because Typekit is also super simple...

I know it's easy to imagine Google launching such services to upend smaller competitors - but, genuinely, I just think they it to push the technology.
The fonts currently on offer are, imo, awful - but I'm really glad they're doing it.

@font-face. Yes it still has some issues to work out, but the solution should reside on your (or your clients) webserver, not Typekits nor Google's.
