- Great stuff. I went to the last one he did, which was absolutely bonkers. Mike Paradinas played on some small bandstand-type stage.Ianbolton
- I was at that and would be tempted to go again if the sound wasn't such an issue. Always is in Victoria Park.Fax_Benson
- Fuck, I recognise much of that line-up. What gives? Luckily I'll be stewing on a beach in Italy then, which is what ginger people fucking love doing.Nairn
- Was also at the last FD he did in London, was in some huge custom aircraft hanger like structure - sound was amazing! if outdoor stage the sound will be poopdee-dubs
- Remember the guy climbing up the hanger structure at the end? Probably on drugs. Mad bastard! I was on drugs and thought it was part of the performanceIanbolton
- huh? people go outside to see music performed live? I thought we all just used headphones and spotify.shapesalad

Madly indepth interview from 2014.
https://rareafx.wordpress.com/da…- There's not audio of this, is there? I know he's only moderately more-listenable than The Musky one, but still, would be good whilst I workNairn
- Yeah, there's a lot. You could copy and paste it into TextEdit and get that to read it for youIanbolton
- ha, I 'could' yes, lol. I only realised after asking that it was all likely email-based interviews, so no audio anywayNairn

I've revisited the Ambient works from the early 90's recently. My hot take is that it was his peak.
The glitchy spluttery stuff i really never got my head around, and i actually think this more straightforward edit of Windowlicker improves it by a mile
(waits for community opprobrium)
- That Blackbox track below is pretty bloody ambient if you ask me. I guess any artist is going to go deeper and deeper into their craft in someway or anotherIanbolton
- I get what you mean though. He's coming from a jungle/techno background so there's always gonna be some mad shit mixed in with it allIanbolton
- Sorry, that's a dismally dull remix of Windowlicker.Nairn

This came on YouTube as a recommendation last night, I don’t think I’ve watched anything as cool as this in as long as I can remember. I don’t have a clue what’s going on here. Musician though I am, this type of stuff with programmed beats and samplers is completely above my head.
This is so badass.
Unrelated to that video, and unrelated to this thread being bumped this week, I’ve been listening Aphex Twin a lot this week, and it just blows my mind how insanely creative that guy is.
