I'm trying to find a good serif font to pair with Vitesse sans.
I tried with Emona; the x- and cap-heights work, but the overall letterforms don't.
I'm looking for something solid, not frou-frou and not too old school.
Ideas?

Didot?
- possibly no..neue75_bold
- Tried; didn't really work for me. :\Continuity
- The problem with Didot is the thin strokes that simply don't look good on screen down past a certain point size.Continuity
- yep... was just having a look at what HFJ said about Vitesse (the slab) http://typography.co…neue75_bold
- Although, Vitesse Slab and Verlag do have an interesting dynamic ...Continuity

Vitesse is a serif font, no? Do you want another serif to pair with it?
- There's Vitesse slab and Vitesse Sans. I'm using Vitesse Sans.Continuity
- Don't you mean Forza?duckofrubber
- That's what HF&J named their sans counterpart to Vitesse...duckofrubber
- Ah, you're not wrong.Continuity

I used to like Berkeley to match with modern fonts.
Just a thought....
