Do you need a visa to travel to US from UK?

  I traveled from US to UK last week, my friend wants to travel from UK to US, what rules apply for that?

  If it's travel there shouldn't be. I believe you can't be there more than 3 months.

  do you mean passport? you def. need one of those. a visa however, unless he's staying here for more than 90 days he won't need one.

  For 90 days or less: Tell your friend to fill out an ESTA form:
  http://london.usembassy.gov/inde…
  It's a visa which all UK folk need to fill out before travelling to the states. It lasts for 2 years, I think and It's free (some idiots have paid for them).
  That's all your friend needs to do.
