I had a cracking meal in Eatery 120 (down in Ranelagh) last summer. Seems to have mixed reviews tho...

@303 Sorry, didn't mean to appear snooty. Yes, I've eaten in them all, I'm a restaurant critic. I just think that there are far better options than those. I did come across as obnoxious and I apologise for that.

@eoin - have you eaten in one of those? I have, can't complain and I wouldn't say these are crap. Didn't say that these are fancy/posh. In fact, I avoid fancy/posh places.

^ urls went mad - just google those places

I second - KC Peaches and Cornucopia are good. If you are going to visit south side of Dublin, I recommend The Hen House (http://www.thehenhouse.ie/) and Real Gourmet Burger (http://www.realgourmetburger.co... There are also nice cafes Gourmet Food Parlour (http://gourmetfoodparlour.com/) and Cafe du Journal (https://www.facebook.com/Cafedu...

Pay no heed to Bourdain, he comes here, does no research, gets pissed, highlights some obvious places and some really crap places. He ALWAYS gets it wrong.
