Ok. Yeah. Im confused also. Was that some future flashback from Nora at the end? This is starting to remind me of Under the Dome.
- it was clearly related to the 1844 opening scenes, with the pigeons carrying dates for an upcoming apocalypse or rapturemonospaced
- And she seemed a little peeved at Kevin.CyBrainX
- Oh ok.teh

Tonights Intro Theme.

I didn't read the book but after the last episode it reminds me of [Cube] ... maybe.
Why does Nora have a Wu-Tang tat?
- Ramanisky20
this scene is soooo good
- Regina King is also the voice of the two kids from The Boondocks.CyBrainX

Another fantastic episode, that last scene, wow.
5 EPs left.

Am I the only one who thinks this show is too much like Lost? It's classic Damon Lindelof: make lots of 'oh shit' moments that they'll never answer, have two characters constantly cry to each other about their lives, and skip a few years to have the audience forget about its plot holes.
- the central mystery
may never be explained.
and I'm totally fine with that.
the show is amazingRamanisky2 - But that's a cop out for the writers...twooh
- how can you really explain that without most people going oh "COME ON?"
for me its more about the characters and this situation they are in.Ramanisky2 - I'm not 12 any more so i not need everything explained to me.ArmandoEstrada
- ...Don't need...ArmandoEstrada
- I'm not implying that I need exposition to get something. I'm saying that it's a cop out to have "holy shit" moments purely for effect, without reason.twooh
- But thanks for the passive aggressiveness.twooh
- Reminds me of under the dome and the cube.teh
- It's absolutely like Lost. I'm surprised this is the first time I've seen this mentioned. But that's not insult. Lost was fantastic.CyBrainX
- IRL there are "oh shit" moments, and they never get explained. I like this show. Ah shit.robthelad
- I see both sides of this argument, and both are legit. While the show is incredibly in every way, they are totally pulling a Lost on us, and not in a good way.monospaced
- I get that not everything has to be explained. But so far, I feel like almost nothing has been explained, and that this is the final season.twooh
- And the reason why I hated Lost was because it clearly didn't have a direction for how to end the show. This is feeling similar.twooh
- exactly ... if you only have 5 episodes left, it's time to start checking off boxes of mysteries, not drawing new onesmonospaced
- They did a good job of explaining why those women killed the wrong Kevin Garvey.CyBrainX
- that is very truemonospaced

So glad I never watched Lost. This is dragging.

I've always liked the girl. His girlfriend now. She's detached , crazy, and into whatever.
sounds like most of my girlfriends
- Super talented actressRamanisky2
- She's the star of Fargo this year.monospaced

It took me 2 hours to finish the 1 hour finale. Lots of WHAT? [rewind] moments.
- What? The last episode is next week. Got an advanced copy?ArmandoEstrada
- wait there's one more but honestly last Sundays episode seemed like a good finaleshellie
- It felt like the first part of the finale, for sure.monospaced
- Yeah. I thought if there was no last one that the show already ended well.CyBrainX
- yupmonospaced

Well. One more to go. This better not be a Groundhog day meets theCube wrapped in the Matrix.
- ^thisshellie
- They're wrapping it up nicely. People are closing their arcs, and there really was no promise of an answer to the supernatural mysteries in the first place.monospaced
- I'd be ok if Kevin woke up in a military setting or lab.It just has a wizard of oz feeling to it.teh

I'm super confused and barely know whats going on. I have to constantly read the post episode discussions on the leftovers sub reddit to help clear up some of the confusion.
That being said I still love the show. I do enjoy that in the most recent episode its turning the ending into the craziest depressing LOVE story of all time. Glad the whole nihilistic outlook is slightly balanced out.
Cant wait for the finale and will be bummed when its over. I will probably watch the show over and over to gain an understanding.
- we fucked up with norahshellie
- Yeah that was fucked up but not one millionth as fucked up as hearing a sad story and deciding to end your life and the world as we know it.CyBrainX
- And is the key to US nukes really a key that looks like it's for a bicycle lock?CyBrainX
- And that chunk of metal next to his heart never caused any infection all these years?CyBrainX
- it was a dream, a metaphormonospaced

I'm gonna miss the show a lot.
Nothing quite like it.- I won't. It reminds me of under the dome.teh
- ^ why are you watching it then??
seems like you're not that into itRamanisky2 - I'll miss it but it's a lot like Lost.CyBrainX
- @Ram. It's cooler talk on Monday. I would be ok with a Cube ending.teh
- ^ word ;)Ramanisky2

When we heard lyrics to the show intro music in season two there was a line "let the mystery be". I would take that literally if you're expecting a wrap up of all the strange events. Keep in mind this is the writer who worked on Lost.
- I think the whole point of the show is that people (viewers and characters) will never get the answer as to how/why people were takenmonospaced
- It's the driving force of the show, which is why they aren't focusing on the scientists trying to figure it out. We have to accept it happened, just like they dmonospaced
- Doesn't the music change every episode? It has this season, for sure.monospaced
- yup they even included the first seasons theme track on last weeks episode.Ramanisky2
- The music changed every time this season but not in season 2.CyBrainX
- But I think it's safe to say my theory was way off.CyBrainX

AR is big in movies today. Any possibility it was a government test in AR?
- CyBrainX0
A+
So many more answers that I ever expected.

Bewbz and bush!
Yellow flowers=yellow brick road?Nothing is answered. Everything is answered. And then it ends.
GoT!!!

Moral of the story?
Shit happens, move on or die miserable.
As Christopher Walken once said: The past, is the past, and the future, is now.
- and don't give up on the show before Nora gets naked.CyBrainX
- Ramanisky22
I enjoyed every second of this amazing show. I want MOAR.
oh and @teh ...
I binged 6 episodes of Under the Dome season 1 last night just prior to the Leftovers finale. Are there some similarities in the shows?? Sure. Small town .. strange event .. the cop .. the crazy priest guy .. even some of the locales look similar but that's pretty much it. Under the Dome is atrocious. Terrible acting, zero character development. And I'm pretty sure I wont be watching season 2.
- the only positive was seeing Stephen King's and Steven Spielberg's names attached to the show.Ramanisky2
- Ramanisky21
well done you 2 .. well done.
