What about Apple TV?
- Well that's a product, rather than a service. Did you mean iTunes?ETM

I like both. Netflix for "free movies" and Amazon if I want to pay to watch a recent hit.
Should be getting Amazon TV soon (I don't really care for much Apple, besides their hardware, software I can do w/o)
- Renting from apple is no diffmonospaced
- but I can't stand iTunes, so not the sameformed
- You don't use iTunes. Just click on Apple TV and watch.monospaced
- I always rent from Time Warner Cable rather than Apple because Apple only gives you 24 hours.CyBrainX

with apple tv I:
netflix (created a sub account under my dads account)
and then I got a cable login for HBO Go from my buddy. I've used the same login for showtime, fox, all the other logins that i can use
youtube is great on apple tv for watching random shit, same with vimeo
and rent from apple when I really want to see something and I'm lazy

I have both. Never use Amazon video. Netflix is just much easier to use with its app -- plus with Netflix you get to watch House of Cards, which is well worth it by itself.
However, if you use Amazon for shopping a lot like I do -- then Prime and free shipping is most definitely worth it, with the added bonus of watching video.
As for devices, I have Chromecast, which is great, especially since it's only $35 and it's easy as hell to set up. The only issue with Chromecast is viewing movies from Google Chrome on a laptop and it's Chromecast plugin. It'll 'play' any video from your computer or anything on your screen, sometimes it just lags and just doesn't work though (I'd say half the time actually). However, using Netflix or HBO Go directly from your device using Chomecast works perfectly (i.e. apps meant for use with Chromecast), not mirroring.
I have Apple TV in my office too, just don't use it. Too much of a pain to switch source and too many damn updates.
