If I can only max out one of these, which will affect performance most? Looking at an iMac. Thanks

SSD if you can, and you don't already have one.
Good luck with processor and graphics card. That's a no go.
RAM only if you do certain things.
Everyone says RAM but unless you're actually doing something that fills the RAM that you already have, you won't even notice it.
- Oh sorry, new purchase. Either way, before you max anything out, make sure you have the fusion drive as an option.kalkal

I would go for graphics card/cpu over RAM any day.
You can upgrade RAM later for much cheaper, when/if you need it (on the 27"), but you won't be able to with the others.

@monospaced yes that makes sense... I've never gone for the graphics card upgrade before. Does it give much of a boost do you know?
I've maxed out RAM on my existing one, and seen only fairly minor impact. But it depends what I'm going to do with it I suppose
- having a better gpu is always better in my opinion, and considering they aren't that great on iMacs anyway, you might as well get the best you canmonospaced
- I like the ability to play games when I can, so the gpu for me made sense. Processor is great for doing design, and so is RAM.monospaced
