- ^
well isn't a clock right twice a day?
but let's ignore that those pushing for a laissez faire with the refugees are 100% leftist,GeorgesII - I never called anyone names except maybe Moldero for stalking me with fake accounts LOL :-) I dont care what you think of me or call me. free speech baby.Dillinger
- this subject has been completely ignored except for a handful of articles that get buriedDillinger
- LOL @ lefties in EU... Neoliberalism all the way in EU, UK and USA... big difference. These attacks on the left are amusing - the UK hasn't had a sniff of afadein11
- left leaning leadership for decades.fadein11
- call that an attack LOL people are so softDillinger
- generation snowflakeDillinger
- The issue is either on the front or inside every British newspaper, daily. And has been for a decade.Fax_Benson
- Plenty of land in Kazakhstan to build new towns and cities for all the refugees, and it's closer to the middle east.fruitsalad
- was talking in general about recent attacks on 'the left' - whatever that is - just saying the UK hasn't had a left leaning govt for decades.fadein11
- or should I say blame, not attacks... but carry on.fadein11
- kazakhstan is almost as big as Europe. kazakhstan population 17mil. tiny! all the EU money could have been spent on cement for Refugees to build new towns therefruitsalad
- Where they could've happily lived under whatever medieval religion takes their suppressive fancy.fruitsalad
- Great success!Continuity
- Chuck them all in Kazakstan with a million Quran-dildos so they can all fuck each other to death with their antiquated belief systems.set
- While you're there chuck all the Christians in there too, and the anti-gay lobbyists, Piers Morgan and all the wasps.set
- See, it's not a taboo subject. set just quoted an actual Daily Express headline.Fax_Benson

- No real ideas on solving the problem will result in much more of this.PhanLo
- The problem is simple - an imbalance or a chasm between the host culture and values and those of the immigrants. Slowly it is being realised...shapesalad
- Geography isn't the problem, of how far away in distance immigrants are between their host -the problem is the cultural, religious and value chasm between them.shapesalad
- An example of the culture of a non-eu country: http://www.dailymail….shapesalad
- Government's make money from the debt system so they do not give a fuck about this. Centuries of cultures are at risk. Its sad good integration is incredible.mugwart
- it's easy for Merkel to let them in, she doesn't have to see them or interact with them or deal with them in any way. Maybe if she walked the streets undercover_niko
- ...she'd get a sense of the outrage._niko
- germany bends over backwards to tolerate the intolerable. It's almost like they constantly having to prove their aren't nazishotroddy
- The problems in Eastern Germany have been there way before the refugee crisis. It's the complete lack and disregard for people who are treated like second...jmckinno
- class citizens, while companies in the West of Germany prosper. It's not like BMW or Porsche is planning on open a facility in Chemnitz anytime in the future.jmckinno

It caused a cultural crises in Turkey. People think that the country's demographics is changing.
Turkish government gives them salary, housing, healthcare and tax free businesses while citizens are paying all the burden.
I totally understand Europe's reaction.People are talking about beating Syrians till the border here despite the government's efforts to use Islam as a unifying theme and promote charitable behaviour towards them.
- how has the support for erdogan changed? does he have more support? less?uan
- I feel sorry for those that are displaced by war - but a proper solution is needed. Frankly, drop a nuke on Assad.shapesalad
- USA did it twice to Japan and they turned out to be a pretty decent, educated, cultured, civil society. Sure it was brutal, but can't deny it didn't work.shapesalad
- Isn't the EU providing funding for Turkey to pass on to the Refugee's? In any case, giving them better benefits than the locals is bound to stoke anger.shapesalad
- Problem is a lot of this is a result of our politics and war mongering. Its a horrendous vicious circle that needs to be brokenmugwart
