It caused a cultural crises in Turkey. People think that the country's demographics is changing.
Turkish government gives them salary, housing, healthcare and tax free businesses while citizens are paying all the burden.
    I totally understand Europe's reaction.

People are talking about beating Syrians till the border here despite the government's efforts to use Islam as a unifying theme and promote charitable behaviour towards them.

    • how has the support for erdogan changed? does he have more support? less?uan
    • I feel sorry for those that are displaced by war - but a proper solution is needed. Frankly, drop a nuke on Assad.shapesalad
    • USA did it twice to Japan and they turned out to be a pretty decent, educated, cultured, civil society. Sure it was brutal, but can't deny it didn't work.shapesalad
    • Isn't the EU providing funding for Turkey to pass on to the Refugee's? In any case, giving them better benefits than the locals is bound to stoke anger.shapesalad
    • Problem is a lot of this is a result of our politics and war mongering. Its a horrendous vicious circle that needs to be brokenmugwart

    • No real ideas on solving the problem will result in much more of this.PhanLo
    • The problem is simple - an imbalance or a chasm between the host culture and values and those of the immigrants. Slowly it is being realised...shapesalad
    • Geography isn't the problem, of how far away in distance immigrants are between their host -the problem is the cultural, religious and value chasm between them.shapesalad

    • Government's make money from the debt system so they do not give a fuck about this. Centuries of cultures are at risk. Its sad good integration is incredible.mugwart

Truth is this is a classic battle for hegemony. Islamism vs liberalism.

    Islam is becoming an -ism

Both sides will fight till they win. Which is why we've been at war for 500 years.

Face it for all your Liberal proclamations, your life, our lives are being defined by this battle. It is our generations struggle.

    • Liberalism is embracing islam. In fact, liberals are promoting and protecting radical islam just like the communists partnered with islam in ww2 to kill jews.Hayoth

Do we live on the same planet, open google maps right now and see which countries from the middle east hasn't been attacked, had democratic government deposed or destroyed and had dictatures installed by the west,

for fucks sakes Libya was fuckn 3 years ago and look at it now, did it feels like they Libyans have gained anything, do you think they are happy with what they never asked for?

But it's ok, the west should not apologize for creating this situation, only the people suffering for the destruction of their society should apologise,

this is such a weird train of thought I can't even comprehend it.

    Syriah > Ukraine > Yemen > Libya > Irak > Afghanistan > Iran > Sudan > > Somalia the list is long

    I can post this link > http://www.globalresearch.ca/a-t…

you can go through it and tell me again how the victims should be the one to take responsibilities,

isn't what SJWs call victim blaming ?
