I went through so many of these damn pens...fun when they worked, not so much when they didn't. Nothing can really replace ink-on-mylar, collaging photocopies, spray mounting.

Also - I had a young guy in a few weeks back to get a job done - he was hella irritating, probably slightly on the spectrum.
Anyway, he'd made a mess of his files and I was trying to work out what the fuck he'd done with them, on my computer, with him hovering over my shoulder - he started telling me what to do/which thing to press/how I should use my computer etc, so i paused, turned around and said "Listen man, I've been using Windows longer than you've been alive, I think I know what I'm doing here".

You can no longer keep up with the latest design and motion design/ animation trends. And your head is spinning trying to figure out how all it was created.
Remember when it was enough to animate still layers, put in some paint drips, 45-degree arrows flying across the screen and lens flares in mograph early 2000's.
Those were good times.
