    Yo pals...

The studio I’m at, Blue Wizard Digital (Slayaway Camp, Space Tyrant) is currently looking for a Senior Programmer (Unity/C#) with a major extreme super preference for those who would like to relocate / work with us here in the office in beautiful Comox, BC, on Vancouver Island.

We’re about a 30 minute float plane from downtown Vancouver, a few hours from Vancouver by ferry/driving, and a few hours north of Victoria, BC. Comox also has an international airport so you could catch a direct flight to Mexico if you wanted to.

Here’s the full job posting, but feel free to hit me up directly with any questions, etc. ()

    yowza!

I actually like Unity. I've been developing with c# (among 50 million other languages) for over 15 years but just started learning unity last week, porting an xcode/objective c app over and it's been an unbelievably simple transition - especially without all the OpenGL stuff. Though I'm a coding purist so I don't really use the game objects/prefab stuff ala flash movie clips circa 2003, I just attach a single script to the main camera and the rest of it is c# from there on.

sorry not trying to derail your thread, just funny timing having just gotten into unity :)

No apology necessary! Yeah im pretty reliant on the engine type stuff, so that charms my heart to hear of your purist pursuits :D

Im definitely not a coder which is why we're looking for someone who can kinda hold the fort down while we fuck around with crazy game design ideas and shit. :D
