my sister uses SketchUp and that saves files with wrl extension
- SketchUp was my first assumption, but whilst I didn't try saving-as, it didn't appear to load them. Does she have the full version though?detritus
- When Google bought SketchUp they had an eye in making it The Default 3d creation tool for web. Then Google Googled and changed their mind..detritus
Yeah, there's not even a viewer for Firefox, so whenever I click a wrl link it opens in the viewer I installed for explorer (cortona3d).
It really is a defunct format :/
Perhaps I'm missing something supremely obvious, but do any of you lot know how in sweet fuck I can do *something/anything* with a WRL file?
There's a load of primitive forms that I want, available in WRL format – which is apparently the filetype for ye olde VRML web format – and I'll be damned if I can get them to load or imported in to anything, or find any way of importing/converting them into something useful.
I had no idea just How Redundant VRML is these days.
Thanks in advance for any help you may have.
