Finding old artworks is like a treasure you never knew you wanted to find! A few days ago I stumbled on some 17 year old renders, and once the shock subsided I decided to make a video about it! What if I tried to recreate this image with the knowledge I have now? Would it be any better or would it be the same?
    Warning!
It contains horrible looking old render! :D

great work, haha! back then and especially now :) thanks for sharing it man, its good to remember where we came from!

I remember a few years ago my son was struggling with a drawing, you could tell he was just not happy with what he was seeing on the paper. I don't even know if he said it outright, but his expression told me he was just completely frustrated.

I took that second to remind him that even when we fail we're learning (something even i forget every time im in the process of failing).

Coincidentally, there was an old picture he drew hanging up right next to me and i noticed it and pointed it out that it was made a year or so ago. The difference in skill between that picture and the one he was sitting there drawing was like night and day—he recognized it instantly, and totally snapped out of the funk he was in and started drawing again. <3

sorry for the sidebar... old work can be MAD inspiring!
