- not real enough! is what simon would say.shapesalad
- Variables can be adjusted so it’s more realistic. More space between particles, less length, maybe thicker and a tad glossy. This is convincing.monospaced

- Mono's right, with some adjustments can look better, just need to study few pubes for the correct curliness and lumpingyovkov
- "just need to study few pubes for the correct curliness and lumping" might be the greatest out of context quote of all time.garbage
- I imagine the hairs making up the logo would be trimmed quite short, vs bushy, allowing for better edge definition in the logo. :)monospaced

- I said it looks funny. I usually prefer things to be hand-made than done in computer. But when it looks like this, I don't know...SimonFFM

- Thank you for your effort. Unfortunately it doesn’t look realistic enough. I need to think of another visual. But thank you!SimonFFM
- Do not encourage me.palimpsest
- realistic enough! Man you go to do a tonne of work in photoshop to get it realistic. Things like painting in individual hairs, add bevel on them to light themshapesalad
- etc. Even if you went with C4D or blender - you'd still need to do a decent amount of work in photoshop.shapesalad

If you can’t learn 3D or pay, wouldn’t this work?
Find someone with a bush who wouldn’t mind losing it for a while, shave and trim the logo in for real, photograph the logo and photoshop it onto the other crotch.
- yeah but apparently noone in germany has any pubes.hans_glib

Try AE - you can make a large comp size and export png.
- Thank you! But damn, I don't have AE (and don't know how to use it). I only have the Photoshop subscription.SimonFFM
- ah....shapesalad

Have a look at this Simon, pretty simple if you edit in your own image https://openprocessing.org/sketc…

- how do I define the shape other than the spider?SimonFFM
- Create a template in Photoshop of the logo, save as a jpg upload to imgur/online then follow these steps https://i.imgur.com/…PhanLo
- Thank you!SimonFFM

You could do it as a practical effect:
Get an acetate sheet (transparency), some spray adhesive and some cut bits of wool yarn (or cut some pubes), then print a logo template to go under the transparency to act as a guide. With fine tweezers, place small clumps of wool/hair inside the logo template until you have a good density. Set aside. When all the glue is dry, you can go in with some fine scissors and a pick to trim/art direct your merkin 'til your heart's content.
Or learn to use blender and you can make a dozen variations in 20mins.

- Good stuff. I didn't see a change from any of layer styles she applied before the pattern. Also, the gradient map will wipe out any color previously applied.CyBrainX
- All of this depends on the fur brush which you have to join Deviant Art to get.CyBrainX
- It looks amazing!SimonFFM
- The only thing is the lighting. This will be on the cover of a magazine and the light on the logo has to match.SimonFFM

AI been tried?
- I tried this one, which is useless, and the results were, unsurprisingly, useless.

Please post the finished photo here Simon, we are now all pube specialists when it comes determining if the image of pubes is fake or real.
- I'm very impressed with how well pubic hair effects have been crowdsourced.CyBrainX

I like this thread. Strangest problem solving exercise for a while.
