That Epson is $$$Cheaper to sublimate onto Orcal 651 vinyl.

Random ideas from someone who doesn't do this sort of thing:
Kraft paper, rubber stamps and ink, spray adhesive to attach

Dip the whole jar in wax and emboss the wax with a custom seal of some kind - maybe all the wax would get expensive.
raffia grass or ribbon around the top and and wax seal it together.
I wouldn't want to do 1000 of any of these. If you have that sort of quantity, you should probably get labels professionally done, maybe a labelling machine.
