Logotype Crit

  'sup.

  Working on a logo for a friend's band. Since it's not commercial/paid work, I "feel safe" to share with you fucking hyenas.

  Band is metal inspired acoustic (think Dawnbringer meets Against Me! with fantastical overtones... sorta).

  Logotype nods to 70/80s space/rock opera movie titling.

  Regardless of the conceptual merit, curious if ya'll have kerning or other suggestions that may help the logotype feel more cohesive.

  WARRIOR looks tighter than OUTLAND, which has a load more white space going on.

  Maybe bring the L and closer A together like you have the ARR?

  I think it looks great
  outland = space
  warrior = strenght

  you could even have warrior more dense then outland, make it more clear

  but i'm loving the way it looks, time for another option

  If you're comfortable overlapping "OU" and "IO" without adding a breaking outline, would it make sense to allow the same overlap throughout the other letter pairings? Let the W and R bookending "WARRIOR" out some...doing that will help the justifying alignment with "OUTLAND" and the aforementioned overlaps may feel more natural and less squeezed.

  The RR thing stands out too much for me. I just tried joining the first AR together and...imHo, it's worth an investigation.
