Biography
My name is Jan and I am an a independent graphic designer based in Darmstadt, Germany. I am currently studying graphic design at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt.
I am working in the fields of book design, editorial design, poster design, corporate design and web-design. I am interested in creating systems and situations in which creative moments can happen. I also love books and I write about design and visual culture here (german) and in realtime on Twitter. I am available for commissions and collaborations.
I am also co-founder of the project WIKI/WORKS, which is an open wiki about graphic design and of DARUM, an independent magazine of the students of my university. We are currently doing workshops around Germany for WIKI/WORKS.
