ottawa mostly has web design places. there are a couple print studios (including one of my friend's design firm) but work is harder to find because most of the contracts are pretty much government related.
if you do webdesign let me know. the rcmp isnt the most creative job, but pay and benefits wise its pretty good. used to work for them so i could plug you to the right person.
