    why do people (particularly the advertising industry) not understand that creativity is thinking, it's strong ideas, not about the implementation.

    Tell the customer why they should buy the car, in whichever way you can, be as creative as possible. But if you think make a font out of skidmarks is the answer then you are clearly misguided. I'm a type geek and it doesn't even interest me enough to read up on the car – only enough to post about it on a design forum ;)
