    Pen & Pixel was originally the reason I decided to become a professional designer. Back in the mid 90's when they first came out, even if your music was absolute garbage, a Pen & Pixel cover guaranteed an automatic success. Looking back the covers are garbage, but at the time it was a great example of knowing your client and target audience. It's kind of sad to see that they are still pushing that same tired style to this day though.
