Ok...as posted before I have been running a G1 - the original android phone with Android 1.6. I flashed it and went up to 2.2 but the phone was not fast enough to handle the new operating speed.
I just got a G2 [tmobile is my carrier] off of ebay and am blown away at the speed of the processor and the download speed improvement. It is like night and day.
I will use this phone for a couple weeks before I root it. It comes with about 20 applications that i will never use...a bit annoying.
has anyone here rooted their g2?
