Is it likely that a lot of the reports about slow computers after updating would be related to the caching and indexing? I find it odd that a minority report a slower experience after updating, while the vast majority report an increase.
- Can't speak for others, but it's the first time I've ever upgraded, as opposed to done a fresh installtwooh
- which I think plays a huge factor in speed when first operating it.twooh
- Indeed indexing and re-caching can take hours if you've got a ton of files. I do so I install and leave overnight.evilpeacock
