    I own the G15 and love it. Have owned a couple of the G series' previous models so unless the G16 is a complete revamp, this below should still be valid :

    You do see a good chunk of lense in the viewfinder when fully zoomed, but the viewfinder is useless, no information is displayed and when it comes to what you see vs what is captured it's not accurate at all.

    Great cameras unless you absolutely want to use the viewfinder.

    My only complain is that the mechanism that masks and protects the lense from dust and scratch when the camera is turned off is very fragile and doesn't really allow for you to just carry the camera in your pocket without a case. Fabric friction would most likely end up messing it up.
