I got it last year. I love it, the image quality is great. it feels good, not flimsy at all, It's tough but a bit hard to hold without pushing a button or two sometimes. i was always scared of dropping it, or just throwing it in my bag, then someone gifted me a case and it works great. gives an extra something to grip. it has some fun filters to play with like selective focusing which i love. not the real thing, but close.
i also love the bracketing dial right on top. it's a good/fun little camera for it's size.

yea you can see the lens, but as long as it's not in the actual pic it's no big deal to me. i use the viewfinder all the time. especially outdoors in bright light, that's one of the main reasons i got this cam.

i also have the olympus epl-1 a micro four thirds, i got it approx 4 years ago. works when i don't want to carry around my 6D. it's a bit larger yet light enough to carry around with me. i got the digital viewfinder, cause again, those led screens in bright light, might as well just point and shoot and hope for the best. It's not flashy, good for incognito or traveling. the wide lens is awesome. but i don't like that it has a very hard time in low light.
that is where the G16 comes in handy. (i hate flash) it works well in low light. get it if what you need is a nice little camera to carry with you all the time. let me look for a few samples to post for you.

my good looking case, i got the coffee brown. (:
