TB = 1250MBps
USB3.1 = 1250MBps
ESATA = 375MBps
USB3 = 625MBps
FW800 = 100MBpsDrive types
Newer SATAIII SSDs ~500MBps
SATAII SSD ~250MBps
Standard 7200 Drives around ~90-120MBps
PCIe drives ~600-2000MBpsRaided - ... too complicated and expensive for my needs..
- Where you get them figures from? cos everywhere I've looked says otherwise esp with FW800sem
- wikipedia and wolfram alpha to convert gbps and mbps to MBps... and drive types from neweggdeathboy
- of course those are the possibility. if you put a SSD on a usb2.0 port you will see 460mpbs or 57.5MBpsdeathboy
- really all about knowing how fast it can transfer and making sure their isnt a bottleneckdeathboy
- lots of people will get a new sataIII SSD and put it on a sataII connector and know no better theyre not seeing the full potential of the SSDdeathboy
- potential of the SSD. and if they benchmarked they will see less numbers than advertiseddeathboy
