    Things to do in Vancity...

Cycle or rollerblade around Stanley Park. Vera's burgers are ok. I just prefer Fatburger on Denman (not sure it they are still open since that chinese girl drove her bmw right into it while she was texting).

Spend half a day in Granville Island. Lots of granola girls here and there's some interesting art sometimes. Check out the stores, visit the market, do a little shopping at Opus, check out Emily Carr's book store and grab some fish and chips.

You are obviously gonna have to go to Robson street and do a little Shopping. If you want to go to a shopping centre (mall), go to Pacific Centre or go to Metrotown in Burnaby which is a lot bigger.
If you go to Pacific Centre and you happen to go to the restrooms, watch out for a very short asian guy in his 30's... he looks Malaysian or something. Thing is this tiny dude spends hours in the urinals pretending to pee just so that that he can take a peek at every guy's junk. I seriously don't get why he does it. It's so clear he tries so hard his neck seems like its going to break. Have wanted to call security but kinda feel sorry for the dude.

Check out Gastown. There's a few shops there, but you could do this area in like an hour. Btw... waiting 15 minutes for the steam clock is a waste of time.

You might be surprised at the amount of panhandlers or bums we have here. It's fine if you want to give them a coin or something. I would just avoid giving anything to this woman in her late 50's who always asks for 25 cents. She seems healthy and she could work. I once gave her a few coins but a very long time ago, then I found out she has an apartment by the beach in English bay.

You could also go to Main St. Why? I don't know. People always tourists to check out that area. Apparently there's some interesting shops, restaurants and I believe there are also a few hipsters in that area. I honestly wouldn't know... I have purposely avoid this area in over a decade.

Don't forget to grab a hotdog at Japadog on Burrard Street.
As for restaurants I don't really know much. I tend to always go to my favourite spots, although may people hate them. I like Stepho's on Davie Street. I also like Hon's on Robson for some Chinese... I like Gyuu on Thurlow, Hapa Izakaya on Robson or this other Japanese place on Denman where they sell some nice meat skewers.
