So what's the different vs. Samsung (and others)?

I fail to see the relevancy of the conversation, honestly. It looks almost identical to the Samsung. Samsung is running Android, which the majority of the world likes, unlike the first MP3 players that didn't have a great user interface.

I see them doing ok with teenagers, maybe a few gadgets addict, for the first round. Down the road, when companies discover more specific markets, then some will do well (waiting for someone to make a good fitness one...so far, Fitbit is still king).

I think next round these watches will be something interesting. Right now, I don't think many will take a $350+ watch to the gym (I only see a few iPhones when I go, and they are always in bullet proof cases...a watch ain't gonna last long in a gym!). Most won't run with something that large/heavy, too, certainly not mtn bike.

Good status gift for a teenager, though, just like calculator watches were when I was 12. Maybe I'll get my nephew one for xmas.
