I use a Hackintosh, a WinDoze 7 Dell Laptop..... long ago, I've stopped really thinking about the OS and such, but I do have to update my Hackintosh every so often, a bit of a pain sometimes....
my tip.... WinDoze 7 is ok, still not sure about windows 8.... given that most of the apps I use are cross platform, I don't really miss much except the occasional unix command line or some mac text editors....
Notepadd++ is nice.... I'm sure there is better...
cygwin is a unix command line, I'm sure there is better
- hackintosh tower desktop, and a windoze 7 laptop, yes, sometimes I do stil get BSOD, but spinning beach ball is about the same...vaxorcist
